FROM THEIR FRIENDS’ homes to Manila’s streets, these young, struggling artists have finally landed on a place of their own to showcase their craft at their liberty.

“Espasyo” (Space) is how they call a 50-square-meter room in an obscure spot in the newly created first-class city of DasmariƱas in Cavite, which they have turned into an amateur artist-run gallery.
