sonic mind fields @ Analogous (An Art and Sound Fusion)

We are happy to be part of Analogous – an art and sound fusion event at LRI Design Plaza. Last Saturday, featured artist Ross Capili allocated one of the tables on exhibit for our music book collection. Thank you very much Sir Ross! Thanks also to Mischa Elman from Photomaya.

ANALOGOUS – an art & sound event featuring the latest Mixed Media works on canvas of Ross Capili at the LRI Design Plaza Pavilion will run until April 2, 2011. The first feature in the Artist Series, this showcases Rosscapili’s artistic discipline in conceptualizing art fusion with painting, photography, graphic design and vinyl sound works.

The blog of Sonic Mind Fields is maintained by Cris Garcimo (aka Blend:er). He creates sounds and music using vintage synths, computers, children's toys and field recordings. His music has appeared in Mood Swing Theater (Kittenwhip USA, 2004). He was also featured in S.A.B.A.W. CD (2006) – the first anthology of sound art, electronic, and experimental music in the Philippines.
