The blog of Sonic Mind Fields is maintained by Cris Garcimo (aka Blend:er). He creates sounds and music using vintage synths, computers, children's toys and field recordings. His music has appeared in Mood Swing Theater (Kittenwhip USA, 2004). He was also featured in S.A.B.A.W. CD (2006) – the first anthology of sound art, electronic, and experimental music in the Philippines. He has performed in Media Arts Manila's Field Trip (Green Papaya Arts Project), Asia-Europe New Media Arts Symposium 2009, Tupada Action and Media Arts 2009, Fete Dela WSK 2010 (with E.X.I.S.T), Lopez Museum’s Reverb and in Ayala Museum (2011, with Gentle Universe). He has also collaborated with artists from Electronica Manila, S.A.B.A.W., Media Arts Manila and Synthicide. He lives in Cavite, Philippines with his wife Shey and son Dylan.
